Opening of KPDO’s Office and Studio
KPDO open for business
KPDO’s office and studio, at the corner of Stage and Pescadero Creek road will be open for business on April 12th at 8am with May 8th being the “official” launch date.
Stop by if you are interested in volunteering and/or being trained to host a radio show! Free Coffee & Donuts! Their office is located at 1956 #A Pescadero Creek road – the old Puentes building.
And if you’re a band and want to play at the KPDO May 8th launch party, go to the KPDO Facebook page >HERE< and let them know via comment.

Given the recent conditions at Mavericks Surf Contest today, it’s probably a good idea to keep in mind the tide conditions for the coastside if you’re venturing near the surf.
The Old Farmer’s Almanac.com has a neat little app. that will help you do that.
Tides for Pescadero, California
offers a daily tide chart based on the conditions around Ano Nuevo Island.
Keep it in mind if you’re planning a long stroll on a narrow stretch of beach.

Seaside Village of Pescadero on California Coast
A half-dozen miles south of Half Moon Bay, Pescadero Road heads inland between fields of artichokes and aromatic herbs to the historic village of Pescadero. A stagecoach stop in the mid-1800s, a seaside resort at the turn of the century, the tiny town today consists of a couple of blocks of clapboard, falsefront buildings and weathered farmhouses that are now antiques and curio shops.
